World and Olympic Champion Usain Bolt was ranked 22nd on the Forbes Magazine list of world’s highest paid athletes, behind football greats, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona striker Lionel Messi.
Jamaican Bolt, who will be seeking more gold medals in the upcoming Rio Olympics, is said to earn US$32.5 million per annum, according to Forbes Magazine.
Ronaldo and Messi topped the list in the wake of boxer Floyd Mayweather’s retirement and back surgery for golfer Tiger Woods.
Ronaldo, the 31-year-old Portugal forward topped the list at $88 million with $56 million in salary and $32 million more from endorsement deals.
