The West Indian-American Day Carnival Association (WIADCA) on Monday announced the winners of this year’s Caribbean Carnival, with Skymaxx Mas snatching Adult Band of the Year, with “Into the Wild.”
Other competitors for Adult Band of the Year comprise: Big Boy Productions (Tribe is Colors); Banboche (Heritage); 1199 SIEU Social Cultural Committee (Phoenix Rising); Antoine International (Erotica); Suga Candy Mas (Zodiac Signs); BParadise (Villains of Arkam); Greenz United (Amazonia); I am Caribbeing (Diaspora); and Branches (Enchanted Garden).
Patrick Prescott, portraying D’King Zion by Big Boy Productions, won the King of Carnival, with Shani Bulter, portraying Goddess of D’Purple Jewels, also by Big Boy Productions, winning Queen of Carnival.
In the Junior Carnival category, Kaisokah Moko Jumbies USA, portraying Fusion of Culture, won Junior Band of the Year.

King Mansa Musa, The Third, portrayed by Rajon Vessup and produced by Kaisokah Moko Jumbies won Junior King.
Phoenix Thornhill-Clarke, of Kaisos Platinum Kids Mas, portraying Queen Parvati, won Goddess Of Love And Beauty.
