West Indies Women suffered a series white-wash (3-0) at the hands of New Zealand at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch last week.
It was their worst performance on the final One-Day International as they suffered a 205 runs defeat. New Zealand scored 310, while West Indies could only make 105 runs.
Asked to chase an improbable target of 311, the Caribbean side were bowled out for a paltry 105 in their allotted 50 overs.
Captain Stafanie Taylor top scored with 26, but was the only player to pass 20 as her side’s batting decline badly to record their second lowest One-Day International total in two years.
On their last tour in New Zealand four years ago, West Indies were also swept 3-0 in a One-Day International series, before going to lose the five-match Twenty20 series 4-0.
After being sent in to bat by the West Indies, New Zealand piled an imposing 310 for 5 off their 50 overs. West Indies could only manage 105 in their turn at the crease.
West Indies face the hosts in the first Twenty20 International of the five-match series at the Tauranga Ground later this week.
