The West Indies Women team triumphed in the recent Sri Lanka series in the Caribbean with the regional side winning the three-match ODI 2-1 and the five-match Twenty20 by 3-1 with the final match at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain rained out.
West Indies spinner, Anisa Mohammed, is confident for the upcoming ICC Two World Cups in Sri Lanka in September.
She described the recently concluded Sri Lanka series as highly competitive outing, saying they are top quality opposition.
Mohammed believes that they helped bolster the West Indies with some exciting One-Day and Twenty20 matches.
Mohammed noted that with a tour of England to take place before the Twenty20 World Cup, things are looking very bright for the Windies.
