West Indies Women Captain, Stafanie Taylor has managed to remain in the top 10, unmoved at number eight despite her side’s poor showing at the recent Women Twenty20 World Cup in Australia.
Shemaine Campbell has climbed eight places in the batting rankings to 60th but was the only West Indies player to make inroads in the latest ICC rankings announced last week.
The West Indies Women won a single match in four outings, missing out on the semi-finals for the first time in their last six appearances at the tournament.
In the bowling rankings, West Indies fast bowler, Shakera Selman jumped seven places to 46th while veteran off-spinner Anisa Mohammed moved up three places to 39th.
Leg-spinner, Afy Fletcher is the highest-ranked West Indies bowler at number 12, while Hayley Matthews lies at 25th and is also joint fourth in the all-rounders’ charts.
The rankings are headed by 16-year-old India star Shafali Verma who leaped 19 spots.
