The West Indies team is set to visit Bangladesh in November and December this year for their first full tour of the country since 2012. There will be a two-day practice match before the tour bowls off with two Tests.
West Indies tour will mean Bangladesh will have a packed home season, with Zimbabwe touring in October and the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) scheduled in January.
The last match West Indies played in Bangladesh was during the 2014 World Twenty20.
West Indies had beaten Bangladesh 2-0 in the Test series then, but the home side fought back to take the ODI series 3-2, while West Indies ended the tour with victory in the solitary Twenty20.
The two teams recently played each other in the West Indies where the home side beat Bangladesh 2-0 in the two Tests but the “Tigers” came back to win the three-match ODI 2-1 and the Twenty20, 2-1.
