Trinidad and Tobago Women cricketers have retained their Regional Super50 title when they defeated Barbados by 21 runs in the final at Arnos Vale Stadium in St. Vincent on Sunday, April 30.
All-rounder Felicia Walters starred with both bat and ball, hitting 53 of 140 balls, including three fours, to guide the T&T team to 146 all out in 46 overs.
Walters’ opening partner Reniece Boyce contributed with 29 at the top order, while Rachael Vincent hit 23 off 23 balls to post a competitive total.
Keila Elliot was the best bowler for Barbados, taking four wickets for 47.
In their turn at the crease Barbados was bowled out for 143 in 45.5 overs.
Trinidad and Tobago bowler Felicia Walters, who took three wickets for 25 off 10 overs, was named Player of the Match.
