Tough Task For Windies Bowlers
Undoubtedly, the West Indies squad to the World Cup carries a strong batting side with the four experienced players Chris Gayle, Ramneresh Sarwan, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Dwayne Bravo. Adrian Barath and Darren Bravo are players that should be giving good support to the team to build up the stability and strength to create victories.
Who Will Take The Wickets?
How many strike bowlers the West Indies team presently have? A team cannot expect to win the World Cup without strike bowlers. In 1975 and 1979, the West Indies won those two World Cups because of good bowlers, good batting, great fielding and splendid catches. The few medium pacers and seamers on the World Cup team lack the bowling strength to keep teams under 250 runs or maybe 240. Nikita Miller and Sulieman Benn along with pacer Kemar Roach carry the bowling strength.
England, India And South Africa Have Strong Bowling
Grame Swann, James Anderson and Stuart Broad are leading strike bowlers for England. Dale Steyn, Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Morne Morkel are ready to give it their all for South Africa. Zaheer Khan, Muaf Patel and Harbhajan Singh are well on top of their game thus India is number one in test cricket presently. Bowling is a key factor for winning the World Cup. Game starts Feb. 19.
