It’s time to celebrate our city’s most caring!
Caribbean Life’s annual Caribbean American Healthcare Awards is set for June 27 in Brooklyn, at the Paradise Catering Hall in Gravesend. From now until mid-May, we will be considering nominations for our fifth annual awards.
Every year our publication aims to honor the individuals devoted to healthcare, while working tirelessly to keep an essential industry of our city running smooth. As one of the biggest ethnic communities in the city — Caribbean-Americans play a huge role in performing many of those vital health-related tasks for New Yorkers in every respect. Hence, our healthcare awards commending these individuals.
In accordance, we are hosting a stunning gala where we shower our honorees and their friends and family members with a special evening that includes a cocktail hour, buffet options, three course dinner, and engraved recognition plaques for each awardee.
We are exceptionally grateful to these Caribbean-American individuals who have made New York City their home, as they provide care for us and our loved ones. This is a significant event we enthusiastically leverage because all healthcare workers are integral in saving lives, and are connected to us and the people we love in various ways.
This award ceremony recognizes more than a dozen of those outstanding professionals who are either doctors, physicians, nurses, midwives, specialists, home health aides, day-to-day caregivers, and much more. Even administrative teams that keep these healthcare facilities running. We also honor those who run health organizations and nonprofits that emphasize health or wellness in any way shape or form.
If you know someone who has contributed to our city’s healthcare system in an exemplary way, take a moment to nominate them for our 2019 Caribbean American Healthcare Award. The once-a-year gala spotlights some of the hidden heroes working everyday to assist people in maintaining good health.
