CONCACAF said on Wednesday that another full slate of action was on the docket in the 2023 CONCACAF Boys’ Under-15 Championship in the Dominican Republic and Curacao on Tuesday, with games in League A, League B and League C.
The Dominican Republic is hosting the games in League C, and there were two matches at the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo, where Turks and Caicos Islands marched to a 5-0 victory over British Virgin Islands, while Sint Maarten were 4-2 winners against US Virgin Islands, according to CONCACAF.
In the lone League C game at the Estadio Panamericano in San Cristobal, it said Saint Martin edged French Guiana 2-1.
There were four matches each in League B at the two stadiums in Curacao, the Ergilio Hato Stadium and the Stadion Rignaal Jean Francisca.
CONCACAF said Nicaragua defeated Martinique 1-0, Bermuda took care of Cayman Islands 4-0, Suriname downed Grenada 1-0, Aruba and St. Lucia battled to a 0-0 draw, Antigua and Barbuda defeated hosts Curacao 3-1, Guadeloupe won 2-1 with Barbados and Bonaire held off St. Kitts and Nevis, 3-2.
CONCACAF said there were also four matches each at the two stadiums in the Dominican Republic in League A.
El Salvador marched to a 4-1 triumph over Saudi Arabia, Guatemala had a commanding 3-0 win over hosts Dominican Republic, Mexico outlasted Jamaica 2-1, Canada narrowly beat Panama 1-0, Cuba were also 1-0 winners against Qatar, Puerto Rico edged Trinidad and Tobago 2-1, United States pocketed a 3-0 win versus Haiti, while Honduras and Costa Rica played to a 0-0 draw, CONCACAF said.
