The Regional Super50 bowled off last week, which will see 43 matches played in Barbados and Antigua with the Final Four stage at the Coolidge Cricket Ground on Feb. 21, 22 and 24.
Some of the region’s best players including, Chris Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Sunil Narine, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Jason Holder, as well as emerging stars, Shai Hope, Rovman Powell, Evin Lewis and Kesrick Williams will be on show in the regional tournament.
Cricket West Indies Marketing and Communications Manager Carole Beckford said there will be expert commentary of the games on ESPN, which will be seen in more than 75 million homes.
Zone A will be played in Barbados at the historic Kensington Oval, the 3Ws Oval and the Windward Island Cricket Ground. It consists of defending champions, Barbados Pride, TT Red Force, Combined Campuses & Colleges Marooners, Windward Islands Volcanoes and Hampshire County Cricket Club.
Zone B will be played in Antigua at the picturesque Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground and Coolidge Cricket Ground, which will again host the live televised matches.
The teams in this group are: Leeward Islands Hurricanes, Jamaica Scorpions, Guyana Jaguars, Kent County Cricket Club United States of America.
