The Trinidad and Tobago Red Force cricket team won their second successive Nagico Super 50 title recently when they defeated Barbados Pride by 72 runs at the Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad.
For their efforts, members of the Red Force walked away with US$10,000, while Barbados received US$5,000.
Stylish batsman Darren Bravo smashed a brilliant 97 to guide his team to a healthy 270 for 7, leaving the bowlers to perform the final rites, dismissing the Barbadian Pride for l98.
Man-of-the Match was Bravo who followed his 82 and 95 in his two previous innings and would have counted himself unlucky to not register his sixth regional century.
Earlier Barbados won the toss and sent in the Red Force to bat.
Missing nine senior players, Red Force went into the tournament and won their 12th regional limited overs title.
