NYS Sen. Kevin Parker supports community-building efforts at National Night Out

New York State Senator Kevin S. Parker proudly joined the NYPD and city officials at the annual community-building campaign, National Night Out on August 1, in Marine Park, Brooklyn.

“National Night Out provides an exceptional opportunity to reinforce the importance of police-community partnerships,” said Sen. Parker.

Sen. Parker is a lifelong Brooklyn resident, and Chairman of the Senate Energy and Telecommunications Committee. He also serves as a member of several other Senate committees including Finance, Rules, Banks, Internet, and Technology, and the Budget and Revenue.

“By actively working together, we can ensure the safety and well-being of our communities. It was a privilege to participate in this remarkable event and witness firsthand the power of connections forged between our residents and local law enforcement,” said Sen. Parker. 

Recognizing the significance of proactive engagement in community affairs, the politician who consistently supports initiatives that enhance public safety, civic engagement, and quality of life, is passionate about the initiative that promotes crucial police-community partnerships and fosters neighborhood camaraderie, which are integral to community safety and civic engagement. 

The initiative was spread throughout 70 locations citywide with partnerships to help make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
