Speaker, instructor and president of New York City-based digital marketing agency, Market Grub Media LLC, Nickay Piper has wowed companies small and large with her already paramount accomplishments and impressive know-how within the social media marketing arenas.
Currently serving Fortune 500 and middle market companies in the New York metropolitan area, Piper has developed multiple interactive and social media corporate campaigns resulting in records sales and revenues, and developed a tracking method that instills continued improvement through the real time adjustment of marketing programs to insure targeted financial results.
Piper is currently in the process of leading the firm in the direction of mobile application and software development. She has already developed a proprietary/patented technology to monitor and assess website customer acquisition and revenue generating performance, and return on investment productivity.
She has a deep passion for education and small business development. She is currently an adjunct professor at SUNY Westchester Community College, where she has authored one of the college’s first “Social Media Marketing for Businesses” certification courses.
As board member of the college’s Gateway to Entrepreneurship Organization, Piper has helped steer the small business agenda, helping to attract program funding and promote learning initiatives like this year’s Grow 2.0 Conference at which Shark Tank’s Barbara Corcoran was the keynote speaker.
Nickay has also spear-headed Market Grub Media’s “educonsultancy” initiative, DigiCampus, a service aimed at teaching and certifying employees, executives and entrepreneurs in social and digital media marketing.
Her academic highlights comprise “The National Academic Award of Excellence” from former President Bill Clinton; The JP Morgan Chase Urban Debate League Scholarship; and a Bachelor’s Degree in New Media Communications (a program she helped design at Purchase College), where she earned a 3.58 GPA while running Market Grub Media.
