Lovers rock king Beres Hammond is coming to New York for a special performance at Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan.
Hammond will be joined on stage by singers Sanchez and Wayne Wonder at the event slated for Thursday, Aug. 11, one of the stops on his highly anticipated, “Singers In Action – Love Within the Music Tour 2011” series of concerts.
The trio has been performing before sell-out crowds in Miami and Atlanta and cities along the .U.S. east coast along the way to New York.
Fans of the three legendary singers will be enthralled at the prospect of hearing their favorite songs.
Hammond has an extensive fan base in New York and is always warmly received whenever he steps on stage. He is universally known for hits such as: She Loves Me Not, Step Aside, Should I, I Wanna Know, Falling In Love, Tempted To Touch, Golden Touch, Rockaway, Double Trouble, Putting Up Resistace and One Step Ahead,
Coming off his resounding success at the recent Reggae Sumfest 2011, we are sure to hear tunes from Hammond’s latest album like, “I feel good” and such rock-steady melodies of yesteryear as Double Trouble, Sweetness and Rockaway, among the new crowd favorites.
Sanchez can still have everyone hanging on to his every note, reminescent of his concert last year. He definitely will take fans on a trip down memory lane by belting out oldies-but-goodies like Brown Eye Girl, Missing You, I Think I Can Fly, Never Dis a Man, One In a Million and Praise Him.
Sexy crooner Wayne Wonder completes this trio lineup, bringing his style of classic hits like You Me and She, Baby You and I, Saddest Day, When I’m With You and his mega successful hit with Buju Banton, Bonafide Love.
Wonder, known for his 1991 cover version of the late Jamaican singer Delroy Wilson’s, I Don’t Know Why, now re-titled, Movie Star. Wayne’s other hits include: No Letting Go, I’m Only Human, Baby You and I, Saddest Day and others.
