Fashion designer Roger Gary will join Cesar Galindo, finalist from Bravo TV’s “The Fashion Show,” and local designers Devon Scott and Johnny Vincent to bring international appeal, glamour and fashion forward collections to the runway of the second Cayman Fashion Solstice set for Oct. 20-23.
Thanks to noted Cayman Islands Guavaberry Marketing Director Cindy Rosan-Jones and New York’s Signature by Terry Donovan, the four-day event will also feature an exciting lineup of international designers such as Claudia Pegus from Trinidad, George Hamilton from Miami, Cayman Islands designers, and stores Kidan Rooks, and Gabz and Gabz swimwear.
Renowned international designer Kevan Hall, Hollywood’s leading designer, Korto Momolu along with Sand Angels and Jawara Alleyne, are ready to bring radiant collections on the runway.
Miss Jamaica Universe 2010, Yendi Phillips, who captured the first runner-up spot at the Miss Universe Pageant last year, will co-host the runway show on Saturday, Oct. 22 with talented actor, and co-host of Style Network’s “Clean House” Joel Steingold.
Describing the tropical event as the ultimate fashion destination gala of the Caribbean, Donovan has tapped a bevy of beauties that include supermodels Sessilee Lopez, Italian Vogue cove girl, and others, who are being prepped by runway coach extraordinaire, Alva Page whose extraordinary work spans New York City and North Carolina.
