Lady Da Flame is continuing a vibrant spree of inspirational music with her new single, “You Can Do It.”

“A much-needed source of motivation during times like these, ‘You Can Do It’ sees the powerhouse vocalist moving minds, bodies and souls,” Flair Lindsey, Caribbean entertainment publicist, of Acclaim PR, told Caribbean Life.

Lady Da Flame said: “My goal is to make feel good music that stands the test of time, while sending shockwaves of positive vibes to all who listen.

When reflecting on her new track, Lady Da Flame added: “I love the feeling ‘You Can Do It’ gives fans when they hear it.

“The music and lyrics speak so deeply to one another from the moment the song begins,” she continued. “The first horn sets it off.”

Lindsey said worldwide listeners are tapping into “You Can Do It,” as popular DJs, selectors and sound systems endorse the massive song.

“The Reggae Month roll out of ‘You Can Do It’ makes musical sense, as the infectious new song fuses the rich sounds of One Drop Reggae and sprinkles of Ska,” she said.

Always willing to expand music boundaries, Lindsey said Lady Da Flame is still embracing the buzz of her EDM-driven sizzler “Push.”

As the creative’s blossoming catalogue transcends music genres, Lindsey said Lady Da Flame’s gospel favorite “God Answers Prayers” has raked in over 1 billion streams across digital and streaming platforms.

“I have such a cross-section of musical inspirations,” Lady Da Flame said. “Some of my greatest influences include Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Beres Hammond, and Lady Saw to name a few.”

She said Lady Da Flame is still reveling in excitement from last year’s climactic finale.

“The incredible vocalist beams with pride when reminiscing of her customized recording (custom) and rendition of ‘Goodness of God’ being played before a massive international audience at Vybz Kartel’s historic ‘Freedom Street’ event,” Lindsey said.

“Notably, Lady Da Flame’s voice and presence is woven into reggae, dancehall and gospel music and culture,” she added. “From radio and churches to sound system’s coveted dub plate boxes, Lady Da Flame proves music has no limits and can heal and unite nations.

Lindsey said the humble songstress, who hits the UK in May for several performances eyes this year as one of progress, “doubling down on her beliefs that ‘positive music can transform weakness into strength and educate generations on the best paths forward.’”
