A powerhouse vocalist who is not afraid to expand creative boundaries, Lady Da Flame once again boldly proves that her music and talent are more than capable of transcending listening audiences with the inspirational, EDM single “Push.”
Produced by Rawborn Productions, “’Push’ forwardly represents Lady Da Flame’s tap into the booming EDM market,” Caribbean entertainment publicist Flair Lindsey, of Acclaim PR, told Caribbean Life on Monday.
Recording music that spans more than four music genres, the songstress said: “I believe that EDM music is invigorating and a natural pairing for the uplifting lyrics of ‘Push’.
“Further, I am committed to making relatable music with positive messages of perseverance and strength, no matter the style of music,” she added, describing “Push” in five words: “Electrifying, motivational, inspiring, endurance, strength.”
“When listeners hear ‘Push’, I want them to feel encouraged and motivated,” Lady Da Flame continued. “I want them to endure, keep going and complete their goals in life, no matter how small or large they are.”
Lindsey said while “Push” raises the bar for the multi-talented Lady Da Flame, “there are great expectations for the record.
“As the song is already spreading like wildfire amongst top DJs and radio personalities, it’s clear ‘Push’ is on course for greatness,” she said.
“With Lady Da Flame’s phenomenal Gospel song, ‘God Answers Prayers’, recently hitting the 10 million streams mark, it’s an indicator of infinite possibilities for Lady Da Flame and ‘Push,’” Lindsey added. “By all means, ‘Push’ is one of Lady Da Flame’s most personal releases to date.”
The singer recalled many times she had to “Push” herself to get through an issue or a situation.
“A lot of times, she had to give herself a small pep talk,” Lindsey added. “When in a creative space one day, the singer decided to put those thoughts into a song. ‘Push’ was born.”
Lady Da Flame noted that EDM spawned from reggae, “which draws me to it even more.
“Reggae groomed me into always putting forth reality music,” she said. “It’s always been that special place where I can feel free to sing about how I really feel, with real issues that are going on.”
With “Push” dropping on all DSPs on Jul. 12, Lindsey said, “there are a lot of exciting happenings centered on the release,” including upcoming performances in Queens, Bronx and Long Island, as well as Washington, D.C.
In addition, Lindsey disclosed that an official music video for “Push” is in the works.
