It’s a sad end to one of the most highly anticipated weekends. Following a sleepless weekend of activities, Brooklynites and visitors alike pull themselves out of bed following the hype of Labor Day. Eastern Parkway was shrouded in all things Caribbean — checking off each of the senses. Vendors lined the parkway serving delicious Caribbean bites, clothes, and other items so attendees could easily pass the time as they awaited colorful floats to make their way down the road. Whether playing mas or hanging out on the sidelines, costumes and flags of all Caribbean countries united all in attendance.
