The West Indian American Day Carnival Association NY will present the ultimate carnival experience New York Junior Carnival parade and festivities, on Saturday, September 2 at 9:00 am.

With scores of costume bands expected to participate, the parade assembles at Kingston Avenue and St. John’s Place. It will continue, on St John’s Place, making a left on Franklin Avenue. From Franklin Avenue, the masqueraders will make a right on President Street, and proceed into the Brooklyn Museum at 200 Eastern Parkway.

According to WIADCA, a “World Stage” Junior competition and youth fest on the Brooklyn Museum grounds with music, revelry, and exciting activities will engage families until 4 pm.

WIADCA says it celebrates “our youth with year-round pop-up events and programming, such as Back to School, Winter Holidays, Easter to Halloween and more. During these special occasions WIADCA ensures that all youth can enjoy and appreciate the greater community around them. “We welcome all our youth to enjoy all that WIADCA has to offer and more,” said the statement.
