Tongues are wagging that Ne-Yo and wife Crystal Smith welcomed a baby girl, Isabella Rose Smith, into the world on June 25. Weighing five pounds and seven ounces, the bundle of joy was reportedly four weeks premature. Crystal posted on Social Media, “God said don’t make plans honey. She came four weeks early, but right on time for Mommy!” Isabella joins the couple’s children Shaffer Shimere Smith Jr., 5, and Roman Alexander-Raj Smith, 3, and Ne-Yo’s children with his ex – Monyetta Shaw, Madelyn Grace Smith, 10, and Mason Evan Smith 9. Said Crystal, “My world is complete.”
Speaking of babies, Cardi B revealed she is pregnant with her second child while performing with her husband, Offset and Migos on June 27 at the BET Awards. Appearing on stage in an embroidered Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit, a sheer panel in the abdomen exposed Cardi’s baby bump. The couple are already parents to daughter Kulture, who will be 3 in July. Offset is also father to daughter Kalea, 6, and sons Kirby, 6, and Jordan, 11, from previous relationships. Cardi won Video of the Year for W.A.P. at the Awards show.
The Isley Brothers were recently honored in a major way with two streets named after them in New Jersey. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Ron Isley resided in Teaneck, Ernie lived in Englewood and another brother, Rudolph lived in Irvington, New Jersey. The first ceremony took place in Teaneck and the new street’s name is Isley Brothers Way. The second street naming happened in Englewood.
Russell Wilson gave a sneak peak of his signature clothing line, 3Brand, at the opening of Rookie USA Flagship Store, known as the nation’s top kids-only premium shop, on June 24 in New York City. Hosted by the Seattle Seahawks Quarterback and his Grammy Award winning wife Ciara, the event included a product reveal and fashion show featuring highlights from the new clothing line modeled by celebrity kids, including their children. Meanwhile, Russell and Ciara were also spotted having dinner at Philippe Chow NY, as Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones dined at a table nearby.
