Question 3:
My twins just turned 20 and I really want them to learn about real estate so they can begin investing early. Are there any places they can go?
Answer:
There are a few colleges that offer Real Estate as a bachelor major, such as New York University, Columbia University and Baruch College. However, if your interest is to learn immediately I always suggest starting with The NYS Real Estate Salesperson course.
You can visit the NYS Dept. of State’s website for a local school www.dos.state.ny.us. There is also a free workshop called The Real Estate Business being held at Medgar Evers College.
Monday, Sept. 27, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
