Stepping out the Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay I couldn’t help but smile. I finally returned to Jamaica, the land of reggae / dancehall, good vibes and a rich culture. This was my second trip to Jamaica, first to Montego Bay courtesy of Jamaica Tourist Board. Every time I go I fall in love with the island again and again. So here are some recommendations: Eat until your ‘belly buss,’ walk it off by going sightseeing and repeat.

Take in the beauty of Ocho Rios from an aerial view. The environmentally-friendly attraction just five minutes away from Dunn’s River Fall provides an amazing backdrop for the perfect selfie. Hop on the Rainforest SkyExplorer; a chairlift ride that takes guest 700 feet to the top of Mystic Mountain. Get your adrenaline pumping with the Rainforest Bobsled, which is a 1000m-long gravity-driven ride through the rain forest. Take in some cool breeze as you whiz through the rainforest via a secure Zip Line.

Visit Edgar Wallace aka the “Pudding Man” at Just Cool Green Grocery and Variety Store, located east of St. Ann’s Bay. The mouth-watering pudding is made fresh everyday and comes in three varieties cornmeal, toto, and potato. This slice of heaven takes 45 minutes to bake and has a great texture. Bonus, they don’t move stush with the slices.
