Former West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, who is in demand for T20 matches around the cricket world, will now play for Middlesex in the upcoming England T20 Blast, the club announced last week.
Bravo, 34, currently playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), will play for the English County team for the first time in their first six matches of the season.
Bravo boasts an impressive resume in the short format of the game with titles in the IPL with CSK, the Caribbean Premier League with Trinbago Knight Riders and the Bangladesh Premier League with Dhaka Dynamites.
He has also twice helped West Indies win the T20 World Cup.
Middlesex director of cricket Angus Fraser said that Bravo is one of the most exciting and best T20 players in the world and he can win games of cricket with bat or ball.
Bravo is one of the world’s most experienced T20 cricketers with 5,635 runs and 420 wickets in 385 matches.
