Cricket West Indies (CWI) has appointed former national basket baller Kebra Nanton as its new chief financial officer.
Nanton, a former captain of Antigua and Barbuda women basketball team and president of the national association, took up her new post on Sept. 1.
She served as a CFO of the Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority and served in senior accounting role at the Mt. St. George Hospital and regional airline, LIAT.
CWI President Ricky Skerrit said her appointment followed a rigorous financial comprehensive recruitment process, and she is the ideal candidate for this crucial role.
Nanton holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Mississippi Valley State University and a Master’s Degree in Business Analytics from NYU Stern School of Business, and who boasts a portfolio, which include financial analysis and forecast management accounting and data analysis.
