Monique, and husband Luis, president of CariBeat, who has served as director of Latin America and the Caribbean Customer Service of Flight Operations, and Crew Scheduling, for more than 20 years for one of the largest commercial airlines in the US., and is the Commissioner on Maryland Governor Wes Moore’s Commission on Caribbean Affairs, embarked on launching the Washington-DC-based company in 2008, and combined their extraordinary talents to create exceptional Caribbean-style events, tours and culinary products, décor and apparel to serve clients globally.

As such, they are thrilled to welcome a new group of vacationers who they are sure would be ready to pack their bags to soak up Havana’s beauty, where they will stay in boutique hotels, and tour the enchanting city in vintage cars.

Monique, who has served as special advisor on Communications and Public Engagement to the prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago, and vice president of Communications, Meridian International Center, told Caribbean Life that the jaunt accommodates a small number of travelers, but guarantees that everyone would be able to join the team in future tours.

Low-down payment and flexible payment plans are available said McSween who is inviting travelers to join the group “who knows and understands the mystical, mysterious, beautiful Caribbean country,” adding that guests are assigned a fleet of vintage vehicles, and will enjoy private tastings, and meals from Cuba’s top chefs.

A visit to the best of Cuba’s art galleries and walks through the streets of Havana are just some of the guided experiences that awaits guests.

The duo, who represent Trinidad’s BP Renegades, the world’s largest touring steel orchestra, adding to its vast portfolio, started with an apparel company, working with a group of designers, to developing the line, and will soon launch their own merchandise, have created the package tour to bring people together in a cohesive group tour that offers both single, and double occupancy stays in three levels of comfort, that includes standard, upgraded and executive.

Guests will also enjoy a welcome dinner at La Guarida Restaurant, famous for mega Hollywood stars, Jay Z & Beyonce, Madonna, and where Usher was married in a Yoruba ceremony, and Rihanna did a photoshoot.
