The BMS Summerfest will be held at BMS Family Health and Wellness Centers, 592 Rockaway Ave., Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, July 16 from 10 am until 4 pm.
This event is free and open to the public and will provide health information as well as services to residents with one of the largest annual gatherings of health and social service providers in Brownsville.
Mammograms, dental screenings, blood pressure screenings, HIV testing and HEP B testing are among the many health activities included and our clinical services pediatrics, dental, adult medicine and social services will all be open and available.
Throughout the day, there will be staged entertainment with poets, dancers, marching bands, Kids Band Control the Sound and others.
There will also be a KidsZone with workshops on golf and fencing, face painting, kids mobile and art making. A Nutrition Zone will be available and it will provide free BBQ as well as food demonstrations and tastings throughout the day.
