Brooklyn Democratic Party Chair Assemblywoman Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn on Tuesday thanked donors and supporters of the party’s Fundraisers and Holiday Toy Drive.
“We deeply appreciate and thank everyone who attended our Democratic Blue December Fundraiser & Toy Drive,” said Bichotte Hermelyn, the Haitian American representative for the 42nd Assembly District in Brooklyn.
“We’re grateful for the immense support from electeds, Brooklyn Democratic Party leaders and members, and Democrats across all boroughs for helping our community and supporting the party,” added the daughter of Haitian immigrants. “Your gracious toy donations are a massive help for those in need during the holidays.
“And due to your financial support, we can better engage, mobilize and inform Brooklynites ahead of the pivotal 2022 elections to keep our communities, borough, city, state and nation blue,” Bichotte Hermelyn continued.
Among those in attendance at the event were Gov. Kathy Hochul and Mayor-elect Eric Adams.
