Jamaican track and field legend Usain Bolt has begun his three-month training stint in Australia to become a professional soccer player.
He wants to prove his critics wrong as he seeks to be a successful football career “Down Under” with A-league team, Central Coast Mariner.
The charismatic Bolt won eight gold medals across three Olympics while setting multiple records, to establish himself as the greatest sprinter ever in the history of sport.
Since retiring last year, he has focused his attention on football, having even trained with German powerhouse Borussia Dortmund with the hope of landing a professional contract.
Bolt said he had turned down opportunities in Spain and France and believes Australia is where he can make his mark in football.
