The Guyana Amazon warriors captained by Denesh Ramdin won the toss and the Barbados Tridents were a sked to take first strike. Dwayne Smith swash buckled 59 runs from 52 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes and Shoaib Malik batting at number four scored a valuable 55 not out from 42 balls. For the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Krishmar Santokie took three wickets for 19 runs from 4 overs. Tridents scored 152 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs.

After 15.5 overs at 107 for 4 the Guyana Amazon Warriors needed 56 runs from 25 balls but lost the game by Duckworth Lewis method by 8 runs. Jason Holder picked up 2 for 18 from 4 overs. Most valuable player of the match was Shoaib Malik and the player of the series was Simmons from the Guyana Amazon Warriors, who scored 446 runs in 11 innings.
