Alkaline announced on Monday that his New Rules Festival will be heading to Toronto, Canada on June 21, 2025 at the renowned Rebel Night Club.
Entertainment publicist Rickardo W. Shuzzr, of Shuzzr PR, told Caribbean Life that “this highly anticipated event series, which will kick off its 2025 series in London, United Kingdom, on April 17, 2025, has expanded its global presence, bringing New Rules Festival to a city near you.
“Toronto, Canada will be the next destination on this multi-city journey, offering fans the exclusive opportunity to immerse themselves in the captivating ambiance of New Rules Festival in a novel and vibrant setting,” he said.
Kereena Beckford, Alkaline’s manager, said that, “Alkaline’s brand and the unprecedented demand for the New Rules Festival are undeniable.

Shuzzr said that Alkaline is one of Jamaica’s more prominent contemporary dancehall icons.
“The success of the New Rules Festival over the years and his global recognition through music and fashion partnerships make his grasp on the genre undeniable,” he added.
“Since its triumphant return to Kingston, Jamaica in the summer of 2022, where it attracted a historic crowd, New Rules Festival has demonstrated its enduring popularity and demand,” Shuzzr added. “This success is a testament to the festival’s quality and the enthusiastic response it receives from fans.”

On Friday, Jan. 10, Alkaline kicked off 2025 with the release of his new single, “Earn Your Way,” produced by Autobamb and Sponge Music.
