Following the announcement of the New Rules Festival for the United Kingdom, slated for Spring 2025, Armanii and Rahjahwild are set to join Alkaline for what is described as “a historic New Rules Festival experience.”
On Thursday, Alkaline and New Era Production said that Rajahwild and Armanii will perform at the OVO Arena Wembley in London on April 17, 2025.
Entertainment publicist Rickardo Shuzzr of Shuzzr Media told Caribbean Life that Alkaline’s first return to the UK would be after an eight-year hiatus in hosting and executing his signature event, New Rules Festival.
“Dubbed a landmark event for dancehall fans and followers, the iconic OVO Arena at Wembley, a premiere venue, will showcase one of the most highly anticipated dancehall events of 2025,” Schuzzr said.
“Since its announcement in December of 2024, thousands of fans have already purchased their tickets, making this a highly exclusive and in-demand event that is sure to sell out,” he added.
Alkaline said, “It’s been in the works for some time now, and I know my fans in the UK have been waiting a long time. Now the date is locked. So, get your tickets.”
With the announcement of two of the genre’s more promising lieutenants, Armanii and Rajahwild, billed to perform at New Rules Festival in the UK, “fans can now look forward to not just Alkaline’s return to the stage across the pond but also a great experience that fans have witnessed in other locations,” Schuzzr said.
Rajahwild said: “A code, stars amongst stars for New Rules Festival UK… I grew up in an era where Alkaline was dismantling the industry and rewriting the rules, so sharing the stage with the Alkaline is a great feeling.
“The fans know how I go to work: energy, black and powder (laughs),” he said.
Armanii said, “This is my first time performing in the UK, so it will be a great experience and performance. Being invited and sharing the moment is a great experience.”
Schuzrr said this highly anticipated event series, which will kick off in London in 2025, has expanded its global presence.
He said Toronto, Canada, is also part of its multi-city tour stop.
The New Rules Festival will be held in Toronto on June 21, 2025, at the renowned Rebel Night Club.

She said English Fire and Shayna Marie would host the event, which will feature music by Loyal Squad, Andrew Fresh, and Movie Star Jonny.
