Food Network’s annual Wine and Food Festival, sponsored by Capital One Bank, is happening this weekend, October 12-15 in New York City (NYCWFF).

The festival is truly a community-wide effort, open to everyone. This year, it  will include over 400 celebrity chefs from big restaurants and independently owned gems, as well as mixologists and wine and spirit producers across all five boroughs.

It will be supporting the organization God’s Love We Deliver, the only provider of medically tailored meals and nutrition counseling for individuals living with severe illness in NYC. Last year alone, the organization delivered 3.2+ million medically tailored meals, with the help of 14,000 volunteers, to more than 10,500 individuals.

This year, festival guests will embark on a memorable journey aboard La Barca Cantina, a floating bar, which will cruise down the majestic Hudson River all while enjoying luscious seafood bites crafted by New York City’s finest restaurants.

On the 102nd floor of the One World Trade Center, the Aspire One World Observatory will host three extraordinary Festival events including the new Baking Championship: Fall Flavors, hosted by Duff Goldman and Carla Hall. This spirited competition will celebrate the artistry as an esteemed lineup of chefs showcase their creativity with a seasonal twist.

Harbor NYC Rooftop, a new venue on the Hudson River, will host several Festival events, including the return of Disco & Drinks sponsored by Average Socialite, hosted by comedian and Instagram sensation Claudia Oshry and Founder/CEO of Spritz Society Ben Soffer.

In addition, the fan-favorite Grand Tasting makes its return to Hudson River Park’s Pier 76. The area will be transformed into a tasty  wonderland, showcasing hundreds of winemakers and distillers from  Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, as well as the nation’s most talented chefs and culinary personalities.

Pier 86, Home of the Intrepid Museum will be the epicenter of nighttime revelry, hosting the hottest and most electrifying themed parties with headliners like Rachael Ray, Alex Guarnaschelli, Geoffrey Zakarian, Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee and Gabriele Bertaccini hosting festivities throughout the weekend.

Chefs that will be participating in the festival include Alain Ducasse, Maneet Chauhan, Daniel Boulud, Amanda Freitag, Marcus Samuelsson, Dominique Crenn, Andrew Zimmern, Eric Adjepong, Ayesha Nurdjaja, Masaharu Morimoto, Tyler Florence, Chintan Pandya, Antonia Lofaso, Tiffany Derry and many others.

Furthermore, in honor of the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop,, the Festival’s official closing party will be a traditional cookout, with Angela Yee (from Power 105.1’s Wake Up with Yee) as the DJ. It will be hosted by JJ Johnson and Rev Run, and it will include a special performance by DJ CASSIDY.

The event will spotlight dishes that capture the richly layered flavors of Black culture while paying homage to the art form that originated in the Bronx.

The series will offer guests an intimate experience, combining a live cooking demonstration with an opportunity to taste two signature recipes dishes prepared by some of the best chefs in the industry, including Marc Murphy  (who recently opened his new event venue, MM Kitchen Studio) , Scott Conant, Kardea Brown and Nadia Caterina Munno.

Along with MM Kitchen Studio, Platform by the James Beard Foundation, a new show kitchen, event space, and educational hub at NYC’s Pier 57, will host select events from the new Demo & Dine Series.

Making its Festival debut this year and serving as the definitive insider’s mecca for content creation is FoodieCon®, which will feature a top-notch roster of the most influential digital content creators in the food and beverage community.
